YEP is joining forces with Red Letter Hospitality's Meals for Heroes program to support Mercy Center for Women. The Mercy Center for Women provides services for women in the community who are homeless or who need some assistance with their personal development. Mercy Center provides transitional housing for women and their children. They are currently housing about 25 full-time residents.
Our goal is to raise $300 to provide a summer picnic for the women, children, and staff currently residing at Mercy Center's. We are encouraging our members to "purchase a meal" for $10 which will provide a delicious meal from The Cork 1794. If we surpass our goal of $300, all extra funds will be given to The Mercy Center to support their programming and services.
