  • Community Blood Bank of NWPA & WNY is in the business of saving lives, and this means a lot to us. We currently have the following open position of Mobile Drive Coordinator. We are looking for someone who believes in saving lives and who can embody our mission statement which is connecting donors to patients who are in need of life-sustaining blood products in the communities we serve.   • Erie Women's Fund Volunteer Coordinator and Assistant to the President - This position provides orientation, training, management, and organization of Erie Women's Fund volunteers so that asset, membership, education, and community investment objectives are achieved or exceeded annually. board/COmmittee positions

  • TendTo Credit Union is seeking young professionals to join its board. Review their Volunteer Opportunities to learn more about the position and complete the Interest Questionnaire if you are interested in being considered for a board position.
  • The United Way of Erie County is looking for interested individuals to join their Marketing Committee.  This is an advisory role, with the committee meeting quarterly.  If you are interested in learning more, please contact Joelyn Bush at joelyn@unitedwayerie.org or (814) 456-2937.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Volunteers are needed at the St. Matthews Head start building, 950 West 7th Street. Assistance needed to help sort, organize and in some instances move items. Please choose either or both January 18th from Noon – 3:00 p.m or January 25th from 9:00 to noon or Noon to 3:00 pm. These items include books, furniture, and equipment. If you are able to volunteer your time to help with this project, please message Rhonda Kumer of GECAC, rkumer@gecac.org or call 459.4581 and let her know what time frame you would be willing to volunteer.
