YEP Committees and the volunteers who serve on them are essential to our program meeting its stragetic goals. Our committees align with our values and mission and work on targeted outcomes of the YEP program.
Each committee is lead by 1-2 committee chairs, appointed by its associated Vice President, who are responsible for recruiting YEP volunteers to serve on their committee, convening committee meetings, accomplishing goals related to their committees purpose, and reporting progress to their exectuive committee representative. They are responsible for meeting at least bi-monthly with their committee volunteers to work towards their committee goals. They are expected to serve as committee chair for at least one year. They must be a current YEP Member to be eligible.
Becoming a commitee chair is a great way to get more involved in YEP and develop your leadership skills. You can learn more about each committee here.
