YEP COVID-19 Response

March 18th, 2020, 10:56 AM

The Erie Regional Chamber continues to closely monitor the latest updates from the CDC and remains in constant contact with local government entities regarding COVID-19. At this time, our offices remain operational and are a resource for local businesses during this time of uncertainty.  YEP Program Manager, Amanda Duncan, is available to YEP members throughout this time who may need assistance.

We will continue to follow all State and Federal guidelines regarding mitigation of the virus.  To this end, all YEP programming through the end of March 2020 is postponed.  This includes any committee meetings and signature events.  We will adjust our response to programming as new information becomes available.  Updates will be communicated to our members via our blog and social media outlets.  Please make sure you are following us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn so you do not miss anything.

We know your first concern as a professional is "How will this affect my business?"  ECRGP is committed to being our community's primary resource for businesses during this time.  Any business experiencing difficulties as a result of COVID-19: please call our offices at 814-454-7191 or complete this brief form so that we can work to provide temporary solutions where possible.  For example, our business outreach team can assist with the following:

  • setting up remote work capability
  • creating infectious disease protocol for employees and related operational policies and procedures
  • handling disruption in industry supply chain
  • transportation or shipment delays

We know the uncertainty we are all facing is challenging but believe these efforts and sacrifices are worth implementing to reduce the long-term effects on our community.  We encourage you all to to utilize the connections you have formed in YEP to help you navigate this time.  Lean on one another.  Reach out and check on a colleague.  Find creative solutions.  Be a resource to others in need.  Above all, take care of yourself.
