Ethan Sykes is a Mercyhurst graduate and made Erie is permanent home in 2014. His background is in hospitality and he currently work as a protein sourcing specialist for the C. A. Curtze company. For the last three years, Ethan served as president of the Erie Masonic Temple Association. As president, he oversaw the turnaround of two major business units (events and real estate), established a 501c3 foundation for historic preservation, and secured several grants and funding sources to preserve a downtown asset. Ethan was born and raised in southern Ontario, but chose to settle in Erie with his wife and two dogs. He is passionate about Erie's revitalization and has strongly advocated that our success is going to be driven from a collaborative approach that empowers our generation to engage and define the community.
